Cozy Up to Colour

As the weather gets chillier, I'm reaching into my closet more and more for sweater coats and warm cardigans. I realized that I have a lot of sweaters in creams, greys and blacks but I am suffering from a lack of colour.

I found these gorgeous, colourful and textured cardigans from Anthropologie and I wish I could buy all of them! My favourite one is the above Tie-Dye Cardigan, but any of the below beauties will do.

Above: Splash-Of-Colour Cardigan and Red Gumshoe Sweater Coat (comes in a stunning deep purple too)

Below: High Speed Cardigan and Colourfield Cardigan

I still couldn't resist one black and white sweater coat - if you look closely you'll see a cute cityscape scene.

Below: Havana Sweatercoat

Besides the Anthropologie, where else should I be hunting for a new colourful sweater coat?

I'm not up with places for women's sweaters but I'm a Mantique boy, all the way. I'm also an Eddie Bauer boy.

Yay for color! That 2nd cardy is my fav and they all look so cozy! Hmm as for places to shop.. it does seem hard to find whimsical items like these, but perhaps some smaller boutique or wool shops would do? I'm thinking somewhere like 4th or Main perhaps.

Am in love with the Havana one! Seems like sweater coats are hard to come by around here...haven't seen a lot of them

Oooh, these are fabulous! I only have ones in grey and black (I'm boring, I know), but the colorful ones I've seen so far usually resembled bathrobes or were very expensive Missoni, so not really an option.

And I just read your Chanel post... how exciting! You can't go wrong with a classic black one, though if you had the choice, I'd actually choose a 2.55 (I'm not a fan of logos). Either way, the quilted chain-link bags are all classics, just stay away from the totes.

ooo i really like that high speed cardigan. I always see those commerials on tv for old navy sweatercoats, i have no idea what they look like in real life in terms of style or quality etc. but they look dece on the "modelquins" (oh how i watch too much tv)

ooh those sweater cardis (is that what they're called? damn old navy commercials) look so cozy!! they'll be perfect for.. well not even the upcoming fall/winter because it is already here, SIGH. I am not made for cold weather so once my ban is over, I gotta invest in one of these bad boys!

thanks for your comment dear! glad I can give you (and hopefully other petites) hope with the OTK boots. I was very skeptical myself too but I guess you don't know until you try!

The FreshOut pre-sale was actually smaller than I expected but Janine had some good stuff out. I had to refrain from buying a pair of jeans, a top and some leggings along with the OTK boots that I bought. I'm not sure how her sales usually are because that was my first time going. I wasn't sure what to expect so I didn't have a camera on me :(

Any way, I really like that Havana Sweater coat, it's so unique looking because of the pattern? It looks cozy but it also has that trench coat look, which I love.

I would check Plen+y, sometimes Propaganda makes some cardigan/sweater type things there. Of course, Aritzia will always have something but for a much steeper price. Wilfred has made some really beautiful knitted sweaters.

That is a excellent collection of women's sweaters. You can never have to many of those when living in alaska.
