My Life's About to Change

In a really big way. Like, four paws kinda way.

Hubby and I will be welcoming a puppy to our household in about 4 weeks time! I'm beyond excited - we've waited for a long time to bring a dog into our family and now it's finally happening. A little sooner than I expected but we are happy all the same.

I've already scoped out some pretty neat things to get for her, and I'm definitely going to get one of these cowichan inspired sweaters by Granted.

Also love these very classic brown leather collars from Dog & Hydrant in Yaletown.

I'll be revealing the little pup's name and will post her pictures when she comes home. If you have a dog, I'd love to hear from you - any tips, classes to go to, fave pet stores - tell me about it!

Omg congrats on your new puppy-to-be!! Is it the same breed as the one in the photo?

Puppies are love.

Also look into My Sassy Dog - a local dogwear company. Cutest raincoats ever!

CONGRATULATIONS! I'm such a sucker for pets and love all of mine to bits.

Best of luck with training the new pups when it arrives - always tricky but rewarding!

Well congrats on the puppy! I'm not a big fan as you know, but it's definitely a big step and I am really happy for you :)

Can't wait to see photos!

So cute! I can't wait to see your new pup. Love the sweater and collar! Your pup is rockin' the West coast style. This is the best kind of change because dogs bring so much love and joy to your family and home. My dog's nearing 16-17 years so all the tips I have are for the exact opposite age range haha.
