Nearly Nude

Photobucket
They've arrived - my Elizabeth and James strappy pumps. They came, along with the other goodies in my Shopbop shipment. This is my first Elizabeth and James purchase, and I was nervous that the shoes wouldn't fit. The colour was described as "bone" but I find they are more like a nude beige. I absolutely love them!! They must be the highest heels that I own, as they make my other stilettos feel like ballet flats. My Marc by Marc Jacobs cashmere cardi also arrived, and at $139 (discounted from $300 plus), it was a steal.

The box from the shoes was gorgeous...I love the ink blot design and the black ribbon tab.

thanks! i feel like they make my legs go on and on.

Well, comfort isn't the first thing that comes to mind but they are ok. They're actually not too bad but they are very very high and I need to practice walking in them a bit. But I'm happy the size fits which means more E+J shoes for me in the future!

Whoa... those shoes are hot! I have yet to try out a nude pair of heels, but the color is very pretty and I'm guessing it's going to be quite versatile. I hope you break them in well... I remember once wearing new heels to an interview and I almost got there late, because I couldn't really walk well in my silly new shoes.

I love the cardigan and necklace as well. Great outfit post! :)

I know I already hyped your lookbook photo of this outfit, but I have to say again, you look super hot in this outfit girl!

Gorgeous. I wish I could wear heels that high and spindly but I find E&J is awesome for flats too (as you know) and the nude colour is right up my alley. If those heels were lower... I'd be snatching them up from under you hee hee.
